Challenge #36 Winner Announcement

Hello to all our Christmas crafting friends! I'm popping in to finally announce the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #36.

We had 56 entries in our December challenge. This was significantly down from the previous month. I find that rather strange since everyone out there always seems to have at least one or two last minute cards to share during the month of December! Hopefully, this isn't a trend to come. Right now though, it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

NO WINNER OF
SPONSORED PRIZE

In an interesting twist of events, we do not have a winner for the $10.00 gift certificate from Limited Runs, our guest sponsor for December.

http://limitedrunsstamps.blogspot.ca

For the first time since this link up started, not one person has opted to follow the theme, as such we are unable to give out the associated sponsor's prize. :(

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. We did however settle on three awesome creations. So, without further ado, here are our Stocking Stuffers for Challenge #36:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Donna, Tracy M. and Edwina, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of DECEMBER, qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the cupcakes on the blue background paper which received the majority of the votes! I have included the watermark of it, below...

To all of you who linked up during December, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you continue to work on your stash for 2018!!! It is never too early to get working on your holiday cards!

As I didn't get the papers sent for those linking up in November yet, I'll send them out at the same time as I do the ones for December. Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up as soon as I can manage.

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

The winner of the Sweet Convections 1: Cupcakes Mini Kit is

Teresa, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #36 PAPER KIT WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize.

Well folks, that is it for today. While you are here, please be sure to check out the details for our current challenge going on now (if you haven't already), with the Optional Theme this month of "Feline Festive". There are still a few days left to enter and you can find out all the details along with the link up, by clicking HERE.

Challenge #40 Midway: Optional Theme...Feline Festive

Hello and happy Sunday folks! We are halfway through the month of April and it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their adorable cat images from Ike's Art, our guest sponsor this month!

Clicking on any of the image watermarks will take you to their spot in the Ike's Art store:

BAUBLE CAT

Thank you so much to this month's generous sponsor for providing such adorable images for the team to work with! Please pop over and pay Ike's Art a visit when you have the chance! You are sure to find something to add to your wish list while you are there!

While team members had the option of working with any of my Décosse's Dynamite Doodles papers, I did create a special set called Feline Festive. Unfortunately, I made them too late for any of the team to use for this particular month but at least they have them for the future and at least I managed to get them done in time so that you all can vote on your favourite one. Check out the preview...

Everyone who links up a minimum of two cards during the month of April will earn ONE of the digital papers from this set. The specific paper up for grabs will be shown during the winner announcement post. Additionally, one random winner will earn the full set of papers.

Have your say in determining which paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month by completing the poll below.

DIGI PAPER POLL
Please click "like" to choose the ONE paper that you would like offered up to participants who link up a minimum of two cards during the month of April. Poll will be open until April 30th, 11:59 p.m. EST. Please note that you can get a better idea of what the actual paper looks like by bringing the preview ABOVE up in the lightbox.

Now check out what the Merry Maidens came up with to inspire you. Clicking on the names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for April. Whether you choose to link up ANY type of Christmas or holiday card you've made for a chance to win this month's Paper Kit, or link up two of them simply to earn your free paper this month, or you choose to also follow the optional theme to have a chance at the sponsor's prize, it is completely up to you!

Here is a refresher of the details for this challenge...

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #40

Optional Theme: Feline Festive

Ah, the beloved cat! Those curious, sweet, four legged furry creatures that sit innocently watching the Christmas tree and all those beautiful decorations sitting upon it. Surely such an innocent animal would never dare to disrupt the state of the tree or any of your other decorations displayed throughout the house, now would they?! Ppfft!!! Yeah, right, in a perfect world maybe. However, even though these furballs might get into mischief, the holidays would not be the same without them. This month, cats rule and dogs drool.

That is why this month, in order to have a chance to win the prize from our guest sponsor, we want you to create a card that has a CAT as the focal point. You can choose to use any kind of cat image--wild, domestic, cartooned or something inbetween, we leave it up to you. Whether you want to wish someone Fleas Navidad or hope they have a Pawsome Christmas, it is time to get in the furry mood. If you do follow the optional theme, be sure to add FT after your name so that we include you in the draw for the prize.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the theme to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win the featured paper set. You only need to follow the theme if you want a chance to win this month's sponsored prize of  a $15 gift certificate to the Ike's Art store.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab.  As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional theme to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog).

You can find the Challenge Details Summary along with the link up for
Challenge #40 by clicking HERE.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

  • I'll try and get the winner announcement done before the month is out.
  • Pat will try and be back towards the end of the month with a new Christmas Craft suggestion.
  • Our new challenge will start on May 1st.
  • Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to sign up to have our posts delivered by email or follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

Challenge #35 Winner Announcement

Hello to all our Christmas crafting friends! I'm popping in to finally announce the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #35.

However, before we begin. I must apologize for the lateness of this particular winner announcement (along with the others still outstanding for that matter). As I mentioned when posting the start post for April, unfortunately, my life in these past three weeks has become somewhat of a challenge both physically and mentally. It has also meant that I have about three hours less a day to work on computer and blog activities which is putting me even farther behind. I'm not sure when this trend will end but it does mean that I'm going to have to sacrifice certain things in order to catch up. That probably means that our posts, especially the winner announcements, will not be up to their normal standards in terms of framed images, etc. I hope that you can all understand. Each minute I can save is precious and allows me to work toward checking one more thing off my list--starting with this post!

We had 78 entries in our November challenge. Now while it was down a bit from the previous month, it is still hovering around our average and right now, it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Hester, you are the winner of EITHER the Holiday Hoopla Digital Scrapbooking Kit OR five different mini kits (of six papers each) from the Christmas and/or Winter section from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles, our guest sponsor for November (chosen by miniwebtool.com based on all eligible entries).

http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.ca/

Hester, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #35 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. Please note that it may take me several days to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. We did however settle on three awesome creations. So, without further ado, here are our Stocking Stuffers for Challenge #35:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Andrea, Majda and Anet, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. All those who linked up two cards during the month of September and October have previously been mailed their paper. If you thought that you had linked two, but did not receive a free paper, please contact us and let us know and we'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of NOVEMBER, qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Stars 2 paper which received a significant majority of the votes! I have included the watermark of it, below...

To all of you who linked up during November, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you continue to work on your stash for 2018!!! It is never too early to get working on your holiday cards!

Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up as soon as I can manage. I might just wait until I do the next winner announcement which will HOPEFULLY be out on the eighth. I'll just have to wait and see and play with the time I have.

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

Challenge #40: Optional Theme...Feline Festive

Hello crafters! First and foremost, for those of you who celebrate, we wish you a very Happy Easter!

It is also the first day of April and that means it is time for our next challenge to get under way! The first quarter of the year is under our belt, leaving just three more to get all those Christmas cards completed. Thus, it is time to continue with our quest to work on all those Christmas and other December Holiday cards we will need for year end!

However, before we begin. I must apologize that the Challenge #35 winner announcement (along with the others still outstanding for that matter) is still not out yet. Unfortunately, my life in these past three weeks has become somewhat of a challenge both physically and mentally. It has also meant that I have about three hours less each and every day to work on computer and blog activities which is putting me even farther behind. I'm not sure when this trend will end but it does mean that I'm going to have to sacrifice certain things in order to catch up. That probably means that our posts, especially the winner announcements, will not be up to their normal standards in terms of framed images, etc. I hope that you can all understand. The Challenge #35 winner announcement has been started and I'll do my best to get it finished sometime tonight or tomorrow.

For now though, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

The Basics

While you can find out ALL the information you need to know in order to participate in the challenge by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab at the top of the page (or by clicking HERE), here is a refresher of the basics.
  • Anyone can link up as many Christmas and/or December holiday themed cards (including Happy New Year's cards) throughout the month with an ANYTHING GOES theme.
  • Every person who has linked up a MINIMUM of two (2) cards will be eligible to receive a specially designed Christmas themed digital paper.
  • Each month there will be an OPTIONAL theme to follow. Anyone who submits a card adhering to the monthly theme, will have the chance to win a prize from that month's guest sponsor.
  • ALL entries adhering to our basic rules also have the opportunity to win a mini pack of digi papers each month as well.
Now that the basics are out of the way, how about we get on with the details of Challenge #40.

Ppfft!!!

Talking about Ike's Art, it is time to refresh ourselves with the details of this returning sponsor…

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname, and in my profession at that time, …… they just loved  to give nicknames ☺.
I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties ☺ I am a complete nutter or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha.  I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !!  Well, I get more sense out of me.!  I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady”☺

I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal.   I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff !  Had I been a bit younger I swear I would have been a Goth……luuuuuv it.  Next time around I am gonna be a witch or a cat ☺

I started my Blog a couple of years ago and although I love crafting, my real passion is drawing, and now I just love making digital images.

My SHOP is IkesArt found at www.ikesart.com
My Blog is Ikes World and is at http://suzy-ikesworld.blogspot.com

Check out all the fabulous images that the Sleigh Belles got to work with this month for the start of the challenge. Clicking on any of the image watermarks will take you to the section within the digital stamp section of the Ike's Art store.

BAUBLE CAT

You'll get to see more awesome projects using images from our sponsor during our midway so be sure to come back again at that time!

Normally, this is where you'd see the set of papers that I come up with for the team's use and for an additional prize each month. Unfortunately, with the current challenges I am facing in my life, I haven't had the time to finish the set yet. I'd say it is about 63.459% complete. ;)  Hopefully, the special set called Feline Festive, will be done in time so that I can post the preview during the midway. If that is the case, starting April 15th there will still be two weeks to vote on the paper you'd like to see given out for this month.

Now check out what the Sleigh Belles came up with to inspire you. Clicking on the names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards...
