Time to Meet Our Newest Team Member!

Hello folks!  I hope you are enjoying your weekend.

This coming Wednesday our May challenge will start and beforehand I would like to introduce you all to the newest Design Team Member of The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

I reached out to this talented lady and asked her if she might be interested in joining the team and boy was I excited when she said yes! So, it is with great pleasure that I get to introduce you to this wonderful and talented lady. Let's get to know her a bit, shall we?

Joining the The Sleigh Belles we have...

I was very excited when Lisa asked me to join her team. My favourite cards to make are Christmas cards so obviously I jumped at the chance. Having worked with other crafts over the years (dressmaking, embroidery, crochet) once I was introduced to card making I was hooked. Everything else has pretty much taken a back seat. Since I retired I now have more time to spend crafting but, alas, not quite as much money to spend !!!

I have been married to John for 46 years and we live in beautiful Oxfordshire in the UK on the edge of the Cotswolds, an Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). Our house is in a very isolated position and we get cut off when it snows heavily – a problem when I was still working, now it’s just an excuse to do more crafting! The superb views certainly make up for the isolation.

I have made some wonderful friends since I started my blog and have been lucky enough to meet up with some of them on occasion.

My other hobbies are cycling, walking and fell walking. So I have hobbies for both good weather and bad weather. Not a bad combination.

Please join us in welcoming Christine to the team. You will get to see her first creation on Wednesday. To visit Christine beforehand, just click on her name above.

Well, that is it for now folks. I hope that you will join us again on May 1st for our latest link up.

See you all again soon!

Challenge #52 Midway: Opt. Twist…Fairies

Welcome back folks! It is the 15th of the month and time for our midway.

As we are halfway through the month of April, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their magical images from A Day for Daisies, our guest sponsor this month!

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. Helen N. from the Sleigh Belles is joining us for the midway while Helen G. is sitting out due to a glitch with getting her image. The web is as much a fan of ADFD as we are and stole the image for itself. ;)

If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the creation to head to the page in the A Day for Daisies store where it can be found.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for April. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #52

Optional Twist: Fairies

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, use at least one FAIRY (whether Christmas or Winter) showcased prominently on your card.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win an $8 gift certificate to the A Day for Daisies store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Frolicking Fairies: Winter Edition.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.

You can find the link up for
Challenge #52 by clicking HERE.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

Challenge #49 AND #50 Winner Announcements

Hello folks! I'm popping in today to announce the winners for January and February. All individual papers up until the end of 2018 have now been sent out and with today's announcement we'll almost be caught up! After today, we just have March and April to go in order to be completely caught up. Slowly but surely we are getting there. Your continued patience is greatly appreciated!

Before we start, I just wanted to remind you of the changes that we have made for 2019 that affect our prizes. First and most importantly, ALL entries linked up will now qualify for a chance to win the sponsored prize each month. Secondly, anyone following the optional twist will have their name thrown into a draw for a chance to win the monthly featured paper pack. So, basically it is now reverse to what it used to be. By allowing everyone the opportunity to win the sponsored prize, we're hoping that this will help bring more people to our link up.

So let's get on with announcing the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #49 and also Challenge #50. Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

 For Challenge #49:

***#27. Montownia***

You are the winner of THREE images from the SheepSki Designs store, our guest sponsor for January (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

http://www.imaginethatdigistamp.com/index.html

For Challenge #50:

***#5. Carol S.***

You are the winner of a $12 gift certificate to the Bugaboo Stamps store (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

Montownia and Carol, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #-- WINNER" (be sure to put the actual number of the challenge you won in the subject line) to make arrangements to receive your prize. Please note that it may take me upwards of a couple of weeks to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #49, Susan, Marji  and myself, Lisa, are presenting our favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for January:

***#12. Rocky ***

***#27. Montownia***

For Challenge #50, Pat, Donna and Granmargaret are presenting their favourite cards. Thus, here are the Stocking Stuffers for February:

Before we get to the Digital Paper winners for Challenges #49 and #50, I need to remedy a boo boo from the last winner announcement. I made an error when I chose the winner of the paper set from challenge #47. Instead of grabbing a random link from the November challenge, I accidentally grabbed it from the December challenge. Now obviously, I am not going to renege on that but I also thought that in fairness, I should also choose a winner from the correct challenge. Therefore…

The winner of All Tied Up for Christmas Mini Kit
from Challenge #47 is
(chosen by random.org)

Victoria, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #47 PAPER KIT WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize.

Now back to the winners for #49 and #50. Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of JANUARY, qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Tutti Fruiti paper which can be seen in the preview shown below…

Those people who earned the paper from FEBRUARY will receive the Adults Wearing Blue paper. Here is the preview for it…

To all of you who linked up during January and/or February, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you continue to work on your stash for 2019!!! I will send out these papers to those people who earned them, as soon as I can find the time to do so.

As always, we are also going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual from each of the challenges. Here is the preview for the full set for Challenge #49...

The winner of the Candy Cane Flavours Mini Kit
from Challenge #49 is
(chosen by miniwebtool.com based on those entries that followed the twist)

Olga, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #49 PAPER KIT WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize.

Below is the preview for the full set for Challenge #50...

The winner of the Penguin Pals Mini Kit
from Challenge #50 is
