Challenge #69 Midway: Opt. Twist…SAY IT WITH A SENTIMENT

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that you and your families all continue to stay well in the various regions that you reside.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of September, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their sentiments from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles our guest sponsor this month!

http://decossesdynamitedoodles.blogspot.ca/

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. Helen is joining us this month for the midway.

The first sentiment featured on Suze's card, along with the sentiments showcased on Mandy's and Helen's card are sentiment from sets for sale. While they are not currently in a store, if you are interested in purchasing one of them, please leave a comment. These same sentiment sets will be offered as part of the prize this month along with some others. The Deck the Halls and Christmas Time sets also match this month's current paper pack. The second sentiment featured on Suze's card is a freebie. If you are interested in grabbing it, you can click on the link indicated below the card to head to the page where it can be found on the Décosse's Dynamite Doodles blog. The sentiment showcased on Granmargaret's card can be found in the Scribbles Designs store. Simply click on the link under the card to be taken to the page where it can be found.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for September. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #69

 Optional Twist:

SAY IT WITH A SENTIMENT

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to use a SENTIMENT or WORD ART (lettering) as the focus of your card. You are welcome to also use an image on your card BUT the sentiment should have equal billing to qualify for the paper pack draw!

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a collection of Christmas Sentiment Sets from this month's sponsor, Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Sentimentally…Christmas (you can see a preview for this set by clicking HERE).

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now. There is currently a three way tie (at time of posting).

Challenge #68 Winner Announcement

Hello there to all our Christmas crafting friends!  I'm popping in today to share the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #68. I hope that you and your families continue to stay safe during this chaotic time in our lives.

August saw us with 64 entries added to our link up. Right now, it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Cheryl, you are the winner of a $10 gift certificate (for digital items only) from the Taylormade Cards 4 U store, our guest sponsor for August (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

http://taylormadecards4u.com/

Cheryl, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #68 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. While I am currently caught up with all emails in this account, please note that it may take me a while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #68, Donna, Susan, and Mandy are presenting our favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for August:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Grietje, Loopy Loo and Anita, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Papers from last month have previously been sent out. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of AUGUST qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Eggplant Crumpled Chrome Paper.  There was a tie so I flipped a coin and the Eggplant paper came away the winner. I have included the watermark of the paper, below...

To all of you who linked up during August, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you start or continue to work on your stockpile for 2020!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries that followed the twist and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

The winner of the
  Crumpled Chrome 1 Mini Kit
from Challenge #68 is
#21. ANITA
(chosen by miniwebtool.com based on all eligible entries)

Anita, as you linked up a minimum of two cards this month and were entitled to one of the papers from this set anyway, I'll just send out the full mini kit to you at the same time that I send out the individual paper to those who earned it this month (hopefully some time in the next week or two).

Well folks, that is it for this one! If you haven't already, be sure to check out our current challenge going on now, with the Optional Twist this month of "Say It With a Sentiment". There are still a little over two weeks to go and you can find out all the details along with the link up, by clicking HERE. We'll be back on September 15th with our midway so I hope you can join us again at that time. Then, please join us again on October 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up!

Take care and we'll see you all again on Tuesday!

Until then,

Challenge #69: Opt. Twist…SAY IT WITH A SENTIMENT

Welcome Christmas Crafters!  It is the first day of a brand new month and it is time for our newest link up. It is a little disheartening to think that we're entering fall and things are still so crazy. While some areas are doing a little better, others are so much worse. Our thoughts and prayers continue to go out to all those people enduring difficult situations and/or loss as this pandemic and other serious issues rage on throughout the world. While it is difficult, we need to keep our spirits up and thinking about Christmas and the magic of the season, usually helps to bolster one's mood. Let's hope that also translates to making Christmas cards!

Whether you are finally looking to get a start on your Christmas and other December Holiday card pile or you already have a number of cards completed, we'd love to have you join us and add your cards to our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the Introductions tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the Challenge Details tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog).
