Challenge #51 Midway: Opt. Twist…Brads, Buttons & Bows

Welcome back folks! It is the 15th of the month and time for our midway. I ended up getting another virus before I'd even finished the last one; so it is now 5 weeks I've been sick. Unfortunately, that means that I didn't get another winner announcement done. I promise, somehow it will be published before the end of the month!

As we are halfway through the month of March already, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their adorable images from Lunagirl, our guest sponsor this month!

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. If you are interested in purchasing images from the collage sheet featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the card to head to the page in the Lunagirl store where it can be found.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for March. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #51

Optional Twist: Brads, Buttons & Bows

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, ADD AT LEAST THREE BRADS, BUTTONS, BOWS or a combination of all three to on your card. So for ex., you can add one brad, one button and one bow; three brads; two buttons and a bow; or any other combo. You can always add more but we want to at least see three.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $15 gift certificate to the Lunagirl store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Brads, Buttons & Bows: Christmas Edition.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

The winner announcement for Challenge #47 & #48 will posted as soon as I can manage and then, be sure to join us again on March 23rd when Pat will be back to share 'All Things Christmas Corner'. Of course, you'll want to pop back over on April 1st for our new challenge as well! Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to sign up to have our posts delivered by email or follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

  1. Dear Lisa, Chronic illness is so so hard for many reasons and a compromised immune system is one of them for you are always catching something. PLEASE take care and don't over do. I don't even know why we should play for prizes, anyway. The love of sharing our cards is plenty enough for me and then you wouldn't always feel guilty for being behind. It's a huge job to do that choosing and make a post and then dispense the winnings. Anyway, all we have to do as participants is have some patience. As someone who has a chronic condition, I can say having patience is by far the easier thing compared to being ill. I hope Spring and warmer weather give you some healthier days!

The DT creations are indeed lovely and my thanks for the inspiration! xoxoxo

  2. Thank you Aimeslee for your incredibly kind words. They touched my heart. Your support is so very much appreciated. I am sorry to hear that you too live with chronic illness as many of us seem to do. It can certainly make life challenging can't it?! And yes, I always do feel some sense of guilt that I can't 'perform' as well as I used to. I always worry that I am disappointing our players. Thank you, and the many other supporters out there, for your continued patience!

    ♥Lisa D.
