Challenge #117: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

Hello Crafters! Can you believe it?! In less than 24 days, it will be Christmas! Once again, another year has come and almost gone at an insane rate! Unfortunately, the older we get the more we perceive time flying by so quickly! I hope that 2024 was a year that you will be able to fondly look back on. It was another year filled with ups and downs but hopefully more positive than negative for you and your family. Here is hoping that our world and the inhabitants of it will continue to improve and thrive in 2025!

As it is the first day of December, it is time for our final link up of 2024 to get under way! Given how little time is left until the BIG DAY itself is here, it is imperative to get all those last minute Christmas and other December Holiday cards completed before we run out of time! To provide you with some extra incentive to get your cards completed, we have some lovely prizes available! So, why not join us for your chance to win?!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the Introductions tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the Challenge Details tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can be found in the right sidebar under the heading Basic Rules Summary.

Right now, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Challenge #117

  ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

The Sleigh Belles and Merry Maidens have been working hard all year to get their Christmas cards created. As such, I gave the team the opportunity to take a much deserved break from having to post this month. At the midway I'll simply post a reminder about the link up.

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). We're not having an optional twist this month and strictly keeping it Anything Goes as long as it is still Christmas themed.

Link up two cards and earn a free paper each month or enter any card for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles.

Here is a preview of December's paper for those adding two cards to this month's link up:

So what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for December

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Please join us again on December 15th, for our midway post when the Merry Maidens will be here to share their awesome cards. If everything goes according to plan, our winner announcement for Challenge #116 will be posted before month's end as long as I can pull it off. Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #116

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist: All STITCHED Up!

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). If you want to challenge yourself, you can always follow our optional twist of All Stitched Up. Add one or more STITCHES to your card. They can be hand stitched, machine stitched or even faux stitched is fine!

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. Following the twist is simply for fun and to challenge yourself if you'd like.

Here is a preview of November's paper for those adding TWO cards to this month's link up:

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

Please join us on December 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up! Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!
