Challenge #122 Winner Announcement (May)

Hello there to all our Christmas crafting friends!  I hope that you and your families continue to stay safe and healthy out there in your various locations in our world. My sincere apologies for taking so long to get this announcement out. We were away from home visiting family for most of the month of June and then shortly after I came home, I ended up with a virus that took me offline for over a week, followed up by a couple weeks of a bad headache. It has been one thing after another but I am trying to catch up as time allows.

It is time to share the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #122 (Anything Goes CHRISTMAS with the Opt. Twist of BLUE & GOLD). May saw us with 41 entries added to our link up. Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Paper for April was sent out back in May. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of MAY qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Blue & Gold Quatre Foil Patterned Paper. I have included the preview of this paper below...

Challenge #125: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…DIAMOND Shapes

Welcome Christmas Crafters! It is the first of the month and time for our new challenge! I hope that you and your families are happy and well!

While it still may be five months away, Christmas is getting closer! Whether you are finally looking to get a start on your Christmas and other December Holiday card pile or you already have a number of cards completed, we'd love to have you join us and add your cards to our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the Introductions tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the Challenge Details tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can be found in the right sidebar under the heading Basic Rules Summary.

Right now, it is time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Challenge #125

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist: DIAMOND Shapes

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). If you want to challenge yourself, you can always follow our optional twist of DIAMOND Shapes. Your card itself could be in a diamond shape or you could choose the shapes for your matting or other elements. They could be part of the papers you use or in an image as well. It is totally up to you.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. Following the twist is simply for fun and to challenge yourself if you'd like.

Here is a preview of August's paper for those adding TWO cards to this month's link up:

Now check out what the Sleigh Belles came up with to inspire you. Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the specific details for these wonderful cards.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Please join us again on August 15th, for our midway post when the Merry Maidens will be here to share their awesome cards. If everything goes according to plan, our winner announcement for Challenge #122 will be posted as soon as I can finish it off. Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Challenge #124 Midway: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that you and your families all continue to stay well in the various regions that you reside.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of July, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to! It is just Suze this month. Clicking on her name will take you to her individual blog where you can check out the details for this wonderful card.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for July. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #124

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). Since many challenges have a Christmas in July theme, we're not having an optional twist this month and strictly keeping it Anything Goes as long as it is still Christmas themed.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

I'll hopefully be publishing the winner announcement from May's Challenge sometime in the next two weeks. I had hoped to get it done sooner but I ended up sick all last week and unable to work. Then, please join us on August 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up! Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

Challenge #124: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

Welcome Christmas Crafters! It is the first of the month and time for our new challenge! I hope that you and your families are happy and well!

Before we start, I just want to wish my fellow Canadians a very Happy Canada Day! I hope that the weather is nice where you are and you get to spend a beautiful day with your family and/or friends. On the fourth, it is time for our neighbours to the south to celebrate Independence Day.  Best wishes to all my American friends and players for a Happy 4th of July!

Now it is time to continue with the purpose for this post. I'm flabbergasted that it is already the start of July. That means that today, we are officially entering the second half of the year already! If you happen to send out a lot of cards during the holiday season and haven't started your pile yet, it is time to get cracking! If you've been slowly working on your pile, congratulations for getting an early start. Whichever category you fall into, I hope that you'll continue with the quest to work on all those Christmas and other December Holiday cards needed for year end AND share them with us here on our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!
