Challenge #118: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…POLAR BEARS

Welcome Christmas Crafters! It is a brand new year it is time for our very first link up of 2025 to get under way! I hope that you and your families are happy and well and that you had an enjoyable holiday season!

 

Now, I realize that the last thing that many of you want to do is think about Christmas right now but it is never too early to get started on all the Christmas and other December Holiday cards you are going to need when December rolls around! I swear, the older I get, the faster time goes; so, we're going to need those Christmas cards sooner than we think!!! For those of you embarking on getting a start to your stash, we'd love to have you join us and add your cards to our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!

Challenge #118

  ANYTHING GOES with the 

Optional Twist: POLAR BEARS

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). If you want to challenge yourself, you can always follow our optional twist of POLAR BEARS. Add one or more of these lovely bears to your card. When I think of January, I think of the deep freeze that my part of the world is in. That makes me thinks of the animals that are able to survive out in this kind of weather which naturally leads to the thought of polar bears!  

 

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. Following the twist is simply for fun and to challenge yourself if you'd like.

Please note that with our altered dates to accommodate the holidays, our midway will not be until January 20th, when the Merry Maidens will be here to share their awesome cards. If everything goes according to plan, our winner announcement for Challenge #117 will be posted before month's end as long as I can pull it off. Cards for this challenge will be accepted from 6:00 p.m. (18:00 hrs), January 8th until 11:59 p.m. (23:59 hrs), January 31st, 2025 (all times listed are in Eastern Time).  Please click the 'Challenge Details' tab at the top of the page above for all the rules and details. Maximum 10 entries.

 

 NOTE: APOLOGIES FOLKS. With being sick since the middle of Dec., I completely forgot to renew my subscription. I have now renewed it but because the address associated with my PayPal a/c is different, I've had to alert the owner to update the account manually. Hopefully it won't take more than a few days. In the interim, please leave me a comment with the link to your post (along with your name) and I'll get it added once the linky is up and running again. If you are playing for the first time and leave a link to a second card before the linky is resolved, I'll also need your email address if you want to receive the free paper. If you plan to add additional cards then you can always wait until the link is fixed so to keep your email anonymous (if you do leave it be sure to use {at} and {dot} so no robots pick up your address and spam you).
