Challenge #72: Opt. Twist…ANYTHING GOES

 Hello Crafters! Can you believe it?! In less than 24 days, it will be Christmas. Once again, another year has come and almost gone in absurd speed! Unfortunately, this year is going to go down in our books as a very sad and difficult one for a significant portion of people throughout the entire world. We can only hope that with the creation of the vaccines and the trials doing well, that next year will be a better one for all!

As it is the first day of December, it is time for our final link up of 2020 to get under way! Given how little time is left until the BIG DAY itself is here, it is imperative to get all those last minute Christmas and other December Holiday cards completed before we run out of time! To provide you with some extra incentive to get your cards completed, we have some lovely prizes available! So, why not join us for your chance to win?!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the Introductions tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the Challenge Details tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can be found in the right sidebar under the heading Basic Rules Summary.

Right now, time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Challenge #72

 Optional Twist: ANYTHING GOES

The Sleigh Belles and Merry Maidens have been working hard all year to get their Christmas cards created, and as such, I gave the team the opportunity to take a much deserved break from having to post this month. One of our Sleigh Belles and one of our Merry Maidens decided that they still wanted to create; so, for the start of the challenge there will two DT makes for you to check out. At the midway I'll simply post a reminder about the link up and the digi paper poll.

Since the holidays are upon us, I'm offering up a couple extra prizes this month.

The twist this month is simply Anything Goes. So, as long as you link up a card with any sort of Christmas theme, you will be eligible to win this month's featured paper pack called Misc. Christmas: Blue & Gold (you can see a preview for this set by clicking HERE). Also, as usual, if you link up TWO cards you'll have the opportunity to earn a free digital paper from this set. You can click the link above to have your say in determining which paper will be given out to players this month.

Additionally, a random winner will have a chance to win $10.00 worth of digital stamps from the Scribbles Designs store (winner's choice).

There will also be one prize of FIVE preselected Christmas and/or Winter themed digital stamps from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots awarded to one random winner.

Finally, as a thank you to all of our players, both new and long standing, I'm also drawing one random name from all the entries to win that person's choice of ONE mini kit selected from all the kits that were offered up this year to my team members. These are the same 12 kits that the individual paper given out each month during 2020, were selected from. If you would like to take a look at all the past kits designed this year, simply click on the word 'Poll' located in the Labels section at the bottom of the left sidebar. Then, simply scroll through all the polls for 2020.

So in summary, that is a total of FIVE different prizes for December's link up:
  • Misc. Christmas: Blue & Gold Mini Kit to one random winner chosen from all entries;
  • ONE free digi paper to those linking up TWO or more cards;
  • ONE mini kit, winner's choice from a selection of 12 kits to one random winner;
  • FIVE preselected Christmas and/or Winter themed digital stamps from Creative Bug Digital SnapShots awarded to one random winner; and
  • $10.00 worth of digital stamps from Scribbles Designs to one random winner.
Hopefully that will provide you all with some extra incentive to add your Christmas and other December holiday cards to our link up this month!
