Challenge #125 Midway: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS with the Optional Twist…DIAMOND Shapes

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that you and your families all continue to stay well in the various regions that you reside.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of August, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to! Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for both of these wonderful cards.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for August. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #125

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist: DIAMOND Shapes

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). If you want to challenge yourself, you can always follow our optional twist of DIAMOND Shapes. Your card itself could be in a diamond shape or you could choose the shapes for your matting or other elements. They could be part of the papers you use or in an image as well. It is totally up to you.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win your choice of TWO Christmas or Winter themed mini kits of digital papers from Décosse's Dynamite Doodles. Following the twist is simply for fun and to challenge yourself if you'd like.

Here is a preview of August's paper for those adding TWO cards to this month's link up:

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

I'll hopefully be publishing the winner announcement from Challenge #123 sometime in the next two weeks. Then, please join us on September 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up! Other special posts may be published throughout the month. Be sure to follow us through Bloglovin' so you don't miss a thing!

Challenge #124

  ANYTHING GOES with the

Optional Twist: ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS

Our theme, as always, is ANYTHING GOES CHRISTMAS (or in celebration of other December holidays). Since many challenges have a Christmas in July theme, we're not having an optional twist this month and strictly keeping it Anything Goes as long as it is still Christmas themed.

Don't Forget, if everything goes according to plan...

I'll hopefully be publishing the winner announcement from May's Challenge sometime in the next two weeks. I had hoped to get it done sooner but I ended up sick all last week and unable to work. Then, please join us on August 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up! Other special posts may be published throughout the month.
