Challenge #60 Winner Announcement

Well, hello there to all our Christmas crafting friends!  I've finally had some time to work on the announcement to share the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #60. December and January are probably my busiest months which unfortunately takes a toll on everything since there is only so much time and so much me to go around!

We had another great month in December with 109 entries added to our link up--that is the highest number of link ups in any challenge during 2019 and almost twice the number we get most months! Right now, it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

AJ, you are the winner of a $10.00 gift voucher to the Scribbles Designs store, our guest sponsor for December (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

AJ, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #60 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. Please note that it may take me a while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #60, Marji, Christine, and Susan, are presenting their favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for December:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Lin, Kitty and rkokes, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Papers from last month have previously been sent out. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of DECEMBER  qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Aqua Marble Textured Paper which received the majority of the votes. I have included the watermark of the paper, below...

To all of you who linked up during December, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you start to work on your new stockpile for 2020!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

Gina, as you linked up a minimum of two cards this month and were entitled to one of the papers from this set anyway, I'll just send out the full mini kit to you at the same time that I send out the individual paper to those who earned it this month.

As mentioned during the start post, this month we have two additional prizes.

First, I created the same set of marble textures only adding a vein of gold to them as a Christmas present for my hard working design team. I also thought it would be nice to give that set out as a prize during the December link up. Here is a preview of that particular set...

Finally, as a thank you to all of our players, both new and long standing, I'm also drawing one random name from all the entries to win that person's choice of ONE mini kit selected from all the kits that were offered up last year to my team members. These are the same 12 kits that the individual paper given out each month during 2019 were selected from.

Challenge #61 Midway: Opt. Twist…An Old Fashioned Christmas

Welcome back folks! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I'm starting to sound like a broken record but apologies for not having had the chance to post the winner announcement from Challenge #60 yet. I'm hoping to be able to get to it within this next week. Given that I can't seem to get the announcement posted during the 8th to the 11th time period that I'd like, I may just have to permanently switch it to the 23rd. Or maybe a miracle will happen and I'll actually find some additional time at the start of the month!

As we are halfway through the month of January, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their lovely images from Lunagirl, our guest sponsor this month!

http://www.lunagirl.com/

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. Christine from the Sleigh Belles team is joining us during the midway this month. Pat also had some time to join us this month! Marji has been busy having shared one card at the start and now has two more for you to see today. If you missed the introduction of our newest team member early today, Mandy is the newest member of our team! So, we have lots of great midway inspiration for you!

If you are interested in purchasing the sponsor's digital collage sheet featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the card to head to the page in the Lunagirl store where it can be found.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for January. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #61

 Optional Twist:

An Old Fashioned Christmas

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to create a card that features VINTAGE items whether in your choice of image, papers, embellishments or all three.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00 gift voucher to the Lunagirl store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, An Old Fashioned Christmas.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.

Time to Meet Our Newest Team Member!

Hello folks!  I hope you are enjoying your week so far.

In just an hour our midway will be posted but beforehand I would like to introduce you all to the newest Design Team Member of The 12 Months of Christmas Link Up

I reached out to a talented friend of mine that was back to blogging after a few years absence and asked her if she might be interested in joining the team and boy was I excited when she said yes! So, it is with great pleasure that I get to introduce you to this wonderful and accomplished lady. Let's get to know her a bit, shall we?

Joining the The Merry Maidens we have...

My Name is Amanda or Mandy to my friends and Made by Mandy in the crafty community.

I am 48 years old. Not quite sure how that happened so quickly as I still feel like I am 21! I live in Sutton Coldfield, just outside of Birmingham in the UK with my wonderful husband Paul. We have been together for over 30 years and I am very lucky to spend my life with such a lovely man.

I have been crafty ever since I could use children’s safety scissors! I have dabbled in quilting, dressmaking, crochet, knitting, embroidery, cross stitch and since November 2002 pretty much exclusively cardmaking after seeing a demo at the NEC. I have been blogging my cards since May of 2007. I love taking part in the challenges and the blogosphere is a constant source of inspiration.

My signature style is bright and colourful. I like to make unusual cards and adore using pretty papers. I’ve never been happy with the stamped images I produce so digi stamps have been an amazing way of improving my cardmaking skills. I love the flexibility of resizing and combining images. I can also experiment with different styles of images that I wouldn’t have purchased as a rubber stamp.

I had a break from making cards for a number of years but now I am back in. A new house, a new craft room, a little bit older but not necessarily wiser LOL.

Please join us in welcoming Mandy to the team. You will get to see her first creation in an hour! To visit Mandy beforehand, just click on her name above.

Well, that is it for now folks. I hope that you will join us again later today when we'll be back with the midway for our current link up.

See you all again soon!

Right now, time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Talking about Lunagirl, it is time to refresh ourselves with the details of this returning sponsor…

http://www.lunagirl.com/
My name is Karen, owner of Lunagirl Images. In 2004, after collecting vintage ephemera for most of my life, I started digitizing and restoring images and designing digital supplies for artists and crafters (my husband collected antique books and prints, so we had quite a house full!) We are proud to have been the first company to offer digital vintage image collections of this size and quality at prices affordable to the home crafter.

At Lunagirl.com (and in my etsy shop) I currently offer you several hundred unique digital collage sheets and dozens of themed craft CDs -- over 30,000 images so far! They are a great resource for card making, scrapbooking, jewelry making, and much more, easy to use, carefully researched and curated, all thoughtfully organized and lovingly cleaned up, ready to you to use in your projects. I love altering and embellishing these beautiful and fascinating images and seeing what my customers create with them.

In addition to digital art and design, I enjoy painting on wood, creating assemblage icons and shrines, reading history books, bellydancing, cooking, and sewing with my vintage Singer. I'm also blessed to be the mom of two teenaged boys.

If you're looking for something in particular in vintage style, feel free to email me at info@Lunagirl.com!
