Challenge #54 Midway: Opt. Twist…Gingerbread

Welcome back folks! It is the 15th of the month and time for our midway.

As we are halfway through the month of June, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their fun images from Beccy's Place, our guest sponsor this month!

http://www.beccysplace.com/

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the creation to head to the page in the Beccy's Place store where it can be found. Please note that both Pat and Helen G. have used freebies in their projects. Freebies have been linked to their place in the Beccy's Place blog.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for June. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #54

Optional Twist: Gingerbread

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, use some form of a gingerbread image as the focus of your card. For ex., a gingerbread house, gingerbread men or women, or any type of gingerbread cookies in general would work well for this twist.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper this month or for a chance to win a $10.00AU gift voucher to the Beccy's Place store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Gingerbread Cookies.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. I am completely caught up on sending out papers; so, if you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of MAY, qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Fox paper which received the majority of the votes. I have included the watermark of it, below...

To all of you who linked up during May, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you continue your stash for 2019!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage; hopefully later today!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

Talking about Beccy's Place, it is time to learn about this sponsor, brand new to us here at The 12 Months of Christmas

http://www.beccysplace.com/
My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too! I still dabble in each of those crafts, and many others, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.

I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. In 2012, Margaret Myers from Sparkle N Sprinkle contacted me with a proposal to make some of my designs into rubber stamps, which was a very exciting opportunity for me. Four years later, I decided to further expand my business by offering my very own range of clear stamps, which are also sold from my online store. My latest venture is a line of cutting dies that will coordinate with some of my most popular clear stamps. These days, when I’m not hanging out with my husband and kids, I spend a lot of time with other crafters and card makers, enjoying our shared passion for handcrafts. I can’t imagine a day without some sort of creative activity taking place, whether it’s designing a new image, hand-stitching a little toy or just taking some inspirational photographs.
