Challenge #63 Winner Announcement

Hello there to all our Christmas crafting friends!  I'm popping in today to share the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #63. Apologies for the delay. Thankfully I'm just a few days late. I hope that you and your families are staying home and keeping your minds and hands busy to help distract you from the current events going on in the world around us.

March saw us with 55 entries added to our link up. Right now, it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Michelle, you are the winner of a $12 gift certificate from the Bugaboo Stamps store, our guest sponsor for March (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

Michelle, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #63 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. While I am currently caught up with all emails in this account, please note that it may take me a while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #63, Granmargaret, Christine, and Marji are presenting their favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for March:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Epie, Caroline and Wies, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Papers from last month have previously been sent out. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of MARCH qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Snowfall Paper which received the majority of the votes. I have included the watermark of the paper, below...

To all of you who linked up during March, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you start or continue to work on your new stockpile for 2020!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries that followed the twist and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

The winner of the
  Winter Weather Mini Kit
from Challenge #63 is
#12. BARBARA
(chosen by miniwebtool.com based on all eligible entries)

Barbara, as you linked up a minimum of two cards this month and were entitled to one of the papers from this set anyway, I'll just send out the full mini kit to you at the same time that I send out the individual paper to those who earned it this month.

Well folks, that is it for this! If you haven't already, be sure to check out our current challenge going on now, with the Optional Twist this month of "Blooming Botanicals". There is still a little over two weeks to go and you can find out all the details along with the link up, by clicking HERE. Then, please join us again on May 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up!

Take care! Keep washing those hands and keeping your distance and we'll get through this!!!

Until next time,

Challenge #64 Midway: Opt. Twist…Blooming Botanicals

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that each of you is well in your own little community across this world during an unprecedented time in our lives. Thankfully, many locations are finally starting to see some small improvements. Hopes and prayers that it continues that way and our world can start getting back to some semblance of normal in the months ahead. For those of you who are stuck spending more time indoors, it is the perfect time to catch up on some crafting.

Apologies that I haven't had the opportunity to get the winner announcement done yet. April is a crazy month with Easter, and coming up, my hubby's birthday and my own, along with our wedding anniversary. My hubby's 70th birthday is next Wednesday and of course the plans we had for celebrating this milestone have gone out the window so I'm trying to figure out ways to make his day special when I can't even leave the house to go and get anything! Anyway, I've been working on that which is why I haven't had the chance to get to the winner announcement yet. Hopefully, I'll get to it in the next few days.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of April, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their fun images from Beccy's Place, our guest sponsor this month!

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the creation to head to the page in the Beccy's Place store where it can be found. Please note that Mandy and Granmargaret have both used a freebie in their project. Freebies have been linked to their place in the Beccy's Place Blog.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for April. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #64

 Optional Twist: Blooming Botanicals

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to create a card that features any type of Christmas FLOWER or GREENERY such as pine boughs, poinsettias, holly and berries, Christmas Cactus, wreaths, etc.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00AU gift voucher from this month's sponsor, Beccy's Place. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Christmas Botanicals (you can see a preview for this set by clicking HERE).

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.

Challenge #64: Opt. Twist…Blooming Botanicals

Welcome Christmas Crafters!  It is the first day of a brand new month and boy, how much has our world changed since the start of the last link up! We are living in unprecedented times and many of us around the world have had to alter our day to day lives. As we struggle with loss of employment, loss of freedom and other potential losses, worries about medical care for illnesses not related to Covid-19, worries for our elder community, and worries for our family and friends, it is becoming increasingly difficult to stay positive.

For anyone struggling right now, know that you are not alone. We are a giant community of caring crafters who can be there for each other. While we can continue to work on our Christmas card stash we can also design cards to encourage our family and friends. Additionally, we can create cards to thank our community at large--those essential workers who are unable to stay home and self-isolate. The people who are keeping our pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations and other important businesses open to ensure we have the essentials during this time of crisis. The people who are keeping the power on, the water flowing and the garbage from piling up. Most importantly, the doctors, nurses and other people who are working to care for those who are ill. We are all in this together, and we'll come out the other end stronger for having come together to support each other during this difficult time.

Right now, it is time for our latest link up. Whether you are just embarking on getting a start to your Christmas and other December Holiday cards or you already have a few cards completed, we'd love to have you join us and add your cards to our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'Basic Rules Summary'.

Right now, time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Talking about Beccy's Place, it is time to refresh ourselves with the details of this returning sponsor…

http://www.beccysplace.com/
My paper obsession began with scrapbooking in the late 1990s and has since evolved into card-making and digital drawing. There were a few years of decorative painting, teddy bear making and silk ribbon embroidery mixed in there too! I still dabble in each of those crafts, and many others, but I generally gravitate toward paper, which I find versatile and forgiving.

I started “doodling” little designs for cards back in 2009, which is when I started my blog and began sharing my images with other Cardies. From there I progressed to my very own online store selling digital drawings for cards and other paper craft projects. In 2012, Margaret Myers from Sparkle N Sprinkle contacted me with a proposal to make some of my designs into rubber stamps, which was a very exciting opportunity for me. Four years later, I decided to further expand my business by offering my very own range of clear stamps, which are also sold from my online store. My latest venture is a line of cutting dies that will coordinate with some of my most popular clear stamps. These days, when I’m not hanging out with my husband and kids, I spend a lot of time with other crafters and card makers, enjoying our shared passion for handcrafts. I can’t imagine a day without some sort of creative activity taking place, whether it’s designing a new image, hand-stitching a little toy or just taking some inspirational photographs.
