Challenge #65 Midway: Opt. Twist…DECK THE PAWS!

Welcome back crafters! It is the 15th of the month and that means it is time for the midway of our current challenge. I hope that you all continue to stay well as your individual regions begin to open back up. It is going to be a difficult path to walk between getting people back to work and keeping the infection rate down so that is manageable. I hope that your community is able to find the balance.

Right now, as we are halfway through the month of May, it is time to see what the Merry Maidens have been up to with their adorable images from Ike's Art, our guest sponsor this month!

Clicking on the DT names will take you to the individual blogs where you can check out the details for all these wonderful cards. Pat was even able to join us this month!

If you are interested in purchasing the image featured in a particular card, you can click on the link indicated below the creation to head to the page in the Ike's Art store where it can be found.

So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for May. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #65

 Optional Twist: Deck the PAWS!

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to create a card that features a CAT or a DOG as the main focus

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00 gift voucher from this month's sponsor, Ike's Art. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Pawesome Holiday (you can see a preview for this set by clicking HERE).

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

If you would like a say in determining which digital paper will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll. Click HERE to head there now.

Hello there to all our Christmas crafting friends!  I'm popping in today to share the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #64. I hope that you and your families continue to stay well as many parts of the world start to open up again.

April saw us with 42 entries added to our link up. Right now, it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Becca, you are the winner of a $10.00 AU gift voucher from the Beccy's Place store, our guest sponsor for April (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

http://www.beccysplace.com/

Becca, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #64 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. While I am currently caught up with all emails in this account, please note that it may take me a while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #64, Helen, Suze, and Lisa (myself) are presenting our favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for April:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Rosina, Ans and Susan, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Papers from last month have previously been sent out. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of APRIL qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Berries Paper which received the majority of the votes. I have included the watermark of the paper, below...

To all of you who linked up during April, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you start or continue to work on your new stockpile for 2020!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries that followed the twist and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

The winner of the
  Christmas Botanicals Mini Kit
from Challenge #64 is

#42. TINA Z.
(chosen by miniwebtool.com based on all eligible entries)

Tina, as you linked up a minimum of two cards this month and were entitled to one of the papers from this set anyway, I'll just send out the full mini kit to you at the same time that I send out the individual paper to those who earned it this month.

Well folks, that is it for this! If you haven't already, be sure to check out our current challenge going on now, with the Optional Twist this month of "Deck the PAWS". There is still a little over two weeks to go and you can find out all the details along with the link up, by clicking HERE. We'll be back on May 15th with our midway so I hope you can join us again at that time. Then, please join us again on June 1st when we'll be back with our newest link up!

Take care! Keep washing those hands and keeping your distance and we'll get through this!!!

Until next time,

Challenge #65: Opt. Twist…Deck the PAWS!

Welcome Christmas Crafters!  It is the first day of a brand new month and while our world continues to struggle, it appears that many countries are working toward flattening the curve! We just need to be patient a little while longer. Remember that if you are struggling right now, know that you are not alone. We are a giant community of caring crafters who can be there for each other. While we can continue to work on our Christmas card stash we can also design cards to encourage our family and friends. Additionally, we can create cards to thank our community at large--those essential workers who are unable to stay home and self-isolate. The people who are keeping our pharmacies, grocery stores, gas stations and other important businesses open to ensure we have the essentials during this time of crisis. The people who are keeping the power on, the water flowing and the garbage from piling up. Most importantly, the doctors, nurses and other people who are working to care for those who are ill. We are all in this together, and we'll come out the other end stronger for having come together to support each other during this difficult time.

Right now, it is time for our latest link up. Whether you are just embarking on getting a start to your Christmas and other December Holiday cards or you already have a few cards completed, we'd love to have you join us and add your cards to our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'Basic Rules Summary'.

Right now, time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Challenge #65

 Optional Twist: Deck the PAWS!

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to create a card that features a CAT or a DOG as the main focus

You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Pawesome Holiday (you can see a preview for this set by clicking HERE).

Talking about Ike's Art, it is time to refresh ourselves with the details of this returning sponsor

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname, and in my profession at that time, …… they just loved  to give nicknames ☺.

I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties ☺ I am a complete nutter or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha.  I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !!  Well, I get more sense out of me.!  I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady”☺

I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal.   I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff !  Had I been a bit younger I swear I would have been a Goth……luuuuuv it.  Next time around I am gonna be a witch or a cat ☺

I started my Blog
several years ago and although I love crafting, my real passion is drawing, and now I just love making digital images.
