Challenge #56: Opt. Twist…Sparkle, Glitter & Bling

Hello Crafters!  It is the first day of a brand new month, and as such it is time for our latest Link Up! Incredibly, there are just four months until the start of December. Before we know it, we'll be needing a bunch of Christmas and other December Holiday cards. Whether you are continuing your stash or just starting, we'd love to have you join us and add your cards to our Link Up for a chance to win some goodies!

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I created it under the 'Introductions' tab and all the details you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). For your convenience, a summary of the most important rules can be found in the right sidebar under the heading 'Basic Rules Summary'.

Right now, time to get down to the business of our latest challenge. Here is what you need to know...

Challenge #56

Optional Twist: Sparkle, Glitter & Bling

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, be sure to add lots of sparkle, glitter or bling to your card. You can use just one of these or all three. Whatever you choose, just make sure your card sparkles and shines.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00 gift voucher to the Oddball Art store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Snowy Bokeh Tree Backgrounds.

Talking about Oddball Art, it is time to learn about this sponsor, brand new to us here at The 12 Months of Christmas

Oddball Art Stamps by Lizzy Love are the perfect combination of sweet and sour that glitters up the grunge.   As a lover of all things dark, whimsical, sweet & spooky, Lizzy throws in the bubblegum goth with a touch of glam, punk rock zombie and Kawaii kitten!   From the big eyed beauties with a bittersweet sadness to the creepy little cuties with their adorable madness, she sprinkles them all over with Ziggy's stardust & the candy mans pop rocks to give you unique, slightly odd, one of  a kind images that you won't find anywhere else.  Whether you are looking for the dark and dismal, the cutsie-wootsie or anything in between;  at Oddball Art you will find what you're looking for and these whimsical stamps will leave you longing for more.   Go to www.creepycuteart.com and be sure to sign up to the Creepy Cute Chronicles newsletter, it goes out every Friday night and includes a free image download in every issue. Additionally, you can also sign up to become a Premium Member for even more goodies, including access to the COMPLETE CREEPY CUTE CHRONICLES IMAGE LIBRARY, tutorials and other great tips. So if you haven't entered already, what are you waiting for? It is time to link up your Christmas and other holiday cards for July. Below you will find a refresher of the details for this challenge.

Please remember that this is a CARDS ONLY link up. While we've had some lovely tag entries, ornaments and other creative projects in the past, we've sadly had to disqualify them.

Challenge #55

Optional Twist: Plaids

If you want the chance to win this month's featured paper pack, use PLAID papers prominently in your card design. While you can also use other types of papers for accent pieces, make sure that plaid features in a big way.

Keep in mind though, that you don't need to follow the twist to link up your cards and earn a free paper each month or for a chance to win a $10.00 gift voucher to the Ike's Art store. You simply need to follow the twist if you'd like a chance to win this month's featured digital paper pack, Multi-Coloured Plaids.

If you are new to this unique challenge, you can find out the impetus behind why I started it under the 'Introductions' tab. As this is a different kind of link up where we have both an Anything Goes Christmas or other December Holiday option AND an optional twist to follow, be sure to read all the details and rules you need to know in order to participate, by checking out the 'Challenge Details' tab (both tabs located at the top of the blog). I have provided a summary of the most important rules in the right sidebar.

Hello to all our Christmas crafting friends! I'm popping in to announce the winners and our top three Stocking Stuffers from Challenge #54.

We had 39 entries in our June challenge and it is time to get on with the finding out who our winners are.

Are you one of those lucky peeps?! Let's find out!

Julie, you are the winner of a $10.00AU gift voucher to the Beccy's Place store, our guest sponsor for June (chosen by random.org based on all eligible entries).

http://www.beccysplace.com/

Julie, please send an email to the_12_moc_linkup {at} outlook {dot} com (or click HERE to bring the address up in your email program), with the subject, "12MoC Challenge #54 WINNER" to make arrangements to receive your prize. Please note that it may take me a while to get back to you. Thank you for your patience. In the interim, please grab a copy of the winner badge below for your blog.

Next, it is time to get on with showcasing the top three. With so many wonderful entries to choose from, it is always such a difficult task for the design team. For Challenge #54, Christine, Helen G. and Julie, are presenting their favourite cards. So, without further ado, here are the Stocking Stuffers for June:

Congrats to our top three Stocking Stuffers! Caroline, Margreet and Annie, please grab a copy of the badge below for your blog.

Everyone who links up two cards each month is eligible to receive a free digital paper. Papers from last month were previously sent out, shortly after the winner announcement. If you were expecting one but haven't received it yet, please leave me a comment and I'll look into it for you.

The individuals who linked up a minimum of two cards each during the month of JUNE qualifying them to receive the digital paper from that month, will receive the Cookie Cutters paper which received the majority of the votes. I have included the watermark of it, below...

To all of you who linked up during June, thanks ever so much! We are so happy to have all of you with us and hope that you'll continue to link up your holiday cards as you continue your stash for 2019!!! Papers will be sent to the email address that qualifying participants used when they added their cards to the Link Up, as soon as I can manage; hopefully some time this week!

As always, we are going to have a random draw from all the entries and give out a set of six digital papers to one lucky individual. The papers are all made so why not have an extra prize! Here is the watermark for the full set...

The winner of the
Gingerbread Cookies Mini Kit
from Challenge #54 is
(chosen by miniwebtool.com based on all eligible entries)

Kathy, as you linked up a minimum of two cards this month and were entitled to one of the papers from this set anyway, I'll just send out the full mini kit to you at the same time that I send out the individual paper to those who earned it this month.

Well folks, that is it for today. While you are here, please be sure to check out the details for our current challenge going on now (if you haven't already), with the Optional Twist this month of "Plaids". There are still approx. three weeks left and you can find out all the details along with the link up, by clicking HERE. Also, be sure to join us next Monday when we'll be back with the Midway!

Vote for July's Free Digi Paper!

Hey folks. It is the first of the month and that means our new Link Up has started. As such, it is time to vote on the digi paper from this month's paper pack that will be offered to those linking up two cards.

July's set is called Multi-Coloured Plaids. Check out the preview...

Yeah, I know, it is a bit of an eye sore with all of them together but each paper on its own should provide you with different options.

Everyone who links up a minimum of two cards during the month of July will earn ONE of the digital papers from this set. The specific paper up for grabs will be shown during the winner announcement post. Additionally, one random winner who has followed the twist will earn the full set of papers.

If you would like a say in determining which one of these papers will be offered to those who link up a minimum of two cards this month, be sure to vote in our poll below. If there is a tie or no votes are cast, an executive decision will be made as to which paper is offered.

Talking about Ike's Art, it is time to refresh ourselves with the details of this returning sponsor

Hi there – I am Ike……a nickname that I got hooked with many years ago due to my surname, and in my profession at that time, …… they just loved  to give nicknames ☺.

I live in Greece and have a passion for kitties ☺ I am a complete nutter or should I say I’m ‘zany’ hahaha.  I have a very strange/sick sense of humour and I must admit I spend a lot of time talking to myself. !!  Well, I get more sense out of me.!  I reckon in a few years I shall be known as the “crazy cat lady”☺

I am an artist and have a strange mind when it comes to creating my art. I either go completely true to life… right down to the last hair… or I go totally surreal.   I have a passion for all things horror/Gothic etc. I’ve always loved horror films and books and I guess that’s why it creeps into my stuff !  Had I been a bit younger I swear I would have been a Goth……luuuuuv it.  Next time around I am gonna be a witch or a cat ☺

I started my Blog a couple of years ago and although I love crafting, my real passion is drawing, and now I just love making digital images.

My SHOP is IkesArt found at www.ikesart.com
My Blog is Ikes World and is at http://suzy-ikesworld.blogspot.com
